Ho Shin, General Counsel
As general counsel for Advertising.com, Ho leads the company’s legal and network quality assurance teams and is responsible for all of the company’s global legal and privacy matters.
Ho joined Advertising.com in January 2000, serving as both associate and deputy general counsel before being named general counsel in 2006. Prior to joining Advertising.com, Ho spent several years with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as a trial attorney in the commercial litigation branch, trying savings and loan cases on behalf of the United States. He began his legal career with the law firm Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C. as a general litigation associate.
Ho received a BS in biology from the University of Maryland (with honors) and received his JD (magna cum laude) from Georgetown University.

Ho likes to spend his free time cheering on the Maryland Terps football and basketball teams, for which he is a season-ticket holder.
Highlights
While with the Justice Department, Ho served as
lead counsel on a multi-billion dollar S&L case. He was
also key in helping Advertising.com raise its
$57 million Series E round
of financing in 2000 and the 2004 acquisition by AOL.
